Leonard Fairy Catskill Fly Rod 8' 3/2 #2/3A nice H. L. Leonard Fairy Catskill fly rod, 8', 3 piece, with 2 tips. 2. 4 oz. Very slow action for a #2 or #3 line. Circa 1930's judging by the check and hardware. All full length and with very delicate tips. The rod has been refinished and rebuilt with a new grip (1 2" corks) and a new reel seat utilizing the original hardware. I obviously did not see this rod in the original state but the signature wraps do not follow the usual 3 1 15 1 3 1
Free of cracks
Although the rod is certainly suited for dry flies it can handle just about any situation on your local trout stream
