RL Winston Bamboo Fly Rod 8'9" 2/2 #7An excellent RL Winston San Francisco era fly rod, 8'9", 2 piece, 2 tips, weighing 4 3 8 ounces. A nice medium action which feels to me like it should cast a #7 nicely. Serial #9090, which should put the date of manufacture in the early 1960's. 99% mint having been lawn cast or at most carefully fished a time or two. The original owner's name was written on the rod at the factory. Light tan oven tempered cane done in a three up node pattern. Wrapped
