You simply don't see many of these silent check Hardy reels on the resale market. Three screw latch, uncracked agate line guide, nice leaded patina. The alloy foot has been filed on both ends. Small casting flaw in the frame as shown in the photos. The ebonite handle spins freely the screw head post is a replacement. The tensioner screw also may be a replacement
No marks exist on the reel whatsoever
Typical use marks exist throughout but no serious dings
Comes with an Edward Vom Hofe leather case
Unaltered smooth alloy foot
Classic medium dry fly action
Includes original bag and tube with canvas cover
just as they originally left the shop
Replacement n/s cap and ring reel seat over oil-finished walnut spacer
