Hardy Perfect 3 1/4" Wide Drum Fly Reel - with line guard!For sale here is a nice example of this early Hardy Perfect early 1930s Duplicated Mk 2 wide drum fly reel. It's really hard to find this size with a nickel silver line guard and this has one! Original, un filed ribbed brass foot. The ebonite handle spins freely. Reel is tight with no discernible wobble or spool play.
No marks on the rims
although there are tiny marks on the edges from having been mounted on a reel seat
and cap and ring
and 24 clips in the lid
The grip is 6" long and has a cork slide band seat with aluminum ring and pocket cap
Comes with original bag with stiffener
This is a fixed check system and the line capacity is a DT3 with 30 yds of backing
Lighty blued hardware throughout
