It generally takes 3 5 cycles to sharpen one skate. Wheel lasts approx. 1000 cycles. Ideal for a team or a shop that wants to offer high quality sharpening. 100 mm wheel are best for hockey , children and rental skates (avoid this dimension for goalie , figure and bandy skates. For those skates we recommend 60 mm
