Lot 028 - Vintage Entomological Specimen Box with Pinned Moth Collection in Two Trays, 14" L x 10-1/8" WVintage wooden entomological specimen box with two trays, each containing pinned moth specimens. The moths are predominantly white and pale bodied, pinned to paper lined backing with small handwritten identification labels on select specimens. Many specimens have become dislodged from their pins, with loose wings, detached bodies, and general disarray throughout both trays. Losses and deterioration are present across the collection.

The third shows a smiling young child in a white lace-trimmed dress seated on a fur-covered surface with a hidden figure beneath dark drapery
