Blued hardware, downlocking reel seat over gorgeous burled walnut spacer, ruby red agate stripper, Payne style grip. The rod weighs 4 1 2 oz on my scale. Nice and powerful progressive full working action. Original bag and tube. Hand crafted by Glenn and the BooBoys in Twin Bridges, Montana!

These reels appeared in the Abercrombie & Fitch catalogs and this one includes an A&F stamp on the back of the frame

Made in the 1950s/60s and remaining in near mint original condition

Aluminum cap and ring reel seat over a beautifully figured mortised burl wood spacer

It is in used but very good condition

The seat remains in excellent condition void of any major scratches or dents

Nice tight drag with only a few small bits of rim rash and some small scuffs to the edge of the screw latch

The butt cap is stamped "H Hawes & Co Makers

The rod features a sanded blank with oxblood wraps and bright guides

99% mint and has features usually found only on top-of-the-line rods

Summers also touched up some varnish chips on the butt section
