Orvis CFO I Disc Fly Reel w/spare spoolA nice Orvis CFO 1 disc fly reel with a spare spool, set up for L. H. W. 3. 6 oz. Good used condition with a few small nicks here and there. The foot appears to have been filed and the owner inked the line weight on the spools though I suspect that could be easily removed. Comes in a Orvis zippered case and the spare spool in a separate bag.

Garrison is the person who restored this rod in the 1970s

with the frontis a picture of Kelson (1835- 1920)

Impregnated bamboo and built in a three-up node pattern construction

The ferrules are size 18/64 and 11/64 and the fit is perfect

The aluminum and brass tube is all pre-fire original

and you may like it with a #5 as well

but also a helluva classic fishing rod as-is for salmon or steelhead
