Lot 084 - Antique German Minerva Metal Head Doll With Molded Blonde Hair And Painted Features, Cloth And Leather Body, Circa 1900s-1920s 12" HAntique German metal head doll marked "MINERVA" and "GERMANY" on shoulder plate with molded blonde hair and painted facial features. The metal head shows extensive paint loss throughout with exposed metal visible on hair and face. White cloth and leather body is a later replacement and not original to the doll head. Body exhibits light soiling. Typical of German toy manufacture from the early twentieth century.
This tin is in good condition with some scratching and markings from age and handling

No framing or mounting beyond the original card
The wick knob operates smoothly and moves a new-looking wick up and down nicely
