Hardy “The Murdoch” Bamboo Rod -- ‘For Salmon, Mahseer, Pike etc.’For sale here is the Hardy "The No. 3 L R H Spinning Rod". A Hardy 9' 6" double handed spinning rod, the No. 3 is the heaviest of the options. Studlock joints and Agitipe rings. A nice find was the spanner which is still in the rod bag pocket. There is a slight rip in the alloy of the butt cap and the whippings of the 2 sections don't match but the Studlock joint fits correctly. This rod will ship from the UK.
Rod was built in 2000
The Z-AXIS rods were designed to be very light in the hand

Excellent overall condition with normal wear
but it fits it rather well and is worth $200-$250 on its own
transparent silks tipped with dark claret
Reel foot has some marks on it from being attached to a rod's reel seat
2/2 for a 6 weight line
Ron could varnish a rod with the best of them and this rod is an excellent example
Weight - 3 3/4 oz
This is the Bogdan champagne color
with two tiny rim marks being the only sign of use that I could find
