Lot 035 - Antique Hand-Painted Papier-Mâché Topsy-Turvy Portrait Snuff Box With Reversible Male And Female Faces, 2-1/4" DiameterAn antique hand painted papier mch snuff box with a topsy turvy portrait on the lid. When viewed from one orientation, the lid depicts a young man wearing a turban; rotated 180 degrees, the image becomes the face of a young woman. The bottom of the box is painted in red orange with a black and gold border. The painted surface exhibits overall craquelure and areas of paint loss.
