I had been sitting with this idea for weeks, the idea of something that does not just sit on a finger but rises from it, something that looks like it grew out of the hand itself. Two claws, two flames, two points reaching upward like the hand was on fire and completely unbothered by it. I wanted Pamela to be the kind of piece that makes people
