1991 Fender Japan HSS "Pro Feel Series" Stratocaster w/Locking Tremolo (Black)

1991 Fender Japan HSS "Pro Feel Series" Stratocaster w/Locking Tremolo (Black)Made in Japan in the early 1990s as part of that Fender Japan "Pro Feel" series that followed the "Contemporary" series. This one is a bit of an anomaly as it has no serial number anywhere to be seen and has a headstock logo and design reminiscent of the "Standard" series. It's definitely a genuine Fender Japan model but doesn't seem to be in any of their catalogs, likely a store order or one off build. Solid body with a maple neck and a 21 fret

Made in Japan in the 2000's

It's wired with a master volume and tone control with the second tone control converted to a blend knob that adds the neck pickup into whatever the 5-way toggle is to give you plenty of addition tones that wouldn't usually be available in standard Stratocaster wiring

Restrung and professionally serviced prior to listing including a deep clean

the finish was lightly relic'd and aged to suit the hardware and the neck

This one's in great used condition as pictured with some light signs of wear

This guitar received a rebuild from our in-house tech to fix some pretty severe sinking of the top around the neck pickup

The frets are shiny and play smoothly with some light pitting and playwear

Chambered two-piece alder body with the timeless "Mocha" finish bolted to a nice chunky medium D profile maple neck (42mm nut width)

The Sens (short for Sensitivity) knob is used to control how sensitive the effect is to your playing dynamics and the Peak knob controls the tone of the filter
