1970's HS Anderson Japan "Busk Bass II" Precision Bass (Black)HS Anderson were highly regarded for their high end Japanese replicas of American designs. While many know them from the Prince Mad Cat Telecaster, HS Anderson also had a full range of Fender and Gibson style models including this very nice '50's style Precision Bass. Hefty ash body with some light grain creeping through the black finish bolted to a one piece maple neck (43mm nut width), it weighs just under 5kg's. Looks to be close to all original

Features all the Gibson style with an open book headstock and trap inlays with an aged cream binding on the neck and top

Headstock "DELUXE" decals appear aftermarket and are easily removable

this is one of the first release Springy Sound models made by Tokai and are considered their first "accurate vintage Fender replica"

Made in China for Burny's 2008 catalog (a company with a prestigious history in the Japanese guitar world)

Mahogany body with a lightly carved maple cap

Fretboard was oiled and the frets were polished prior to listing

-cleaned regreased all moving parts

restrung and given a basic service and restring prior to listing

This one's seen some use over it's life and has a few bumps dings as pictured
